One code and you are in
You create an invitation in Lume. Your friend enters the code or opens the link, you see who is asking to join and you accept.
When generally available, Lume Friends will let you invite friends to play on your PC, each from home with their own controller. The game runs on your machine: your friends do not need to buy it or own a powerful PC. A phone, tablet, TV or browser is enough.
Page updated on October 29, 2026 · Friends is a limited pilot, not open to everyone; opening follows Jérémy’s validation, with no date announced · included in the host’s Lume subscription.

Each friend gets their own controller slot on your PC. The game sees several controllers plugged in, just like local play.
Games from your usual platforms (Steam and others) run on your PC with your account. Your friends watch and play without installing anything but Lume.
An invited friend does not get your rights. The rules are enforced by Helio on your PC, not just hidden in the app.
No extra option to buy. Friends is a limited pilot, not open to everyone. A subscription does not grant pilot access. After general opening, the host will be able to invite friends with the Lume subscription. They only need a free account.
