Play your PC games on iPhone or iPad with Lume

Your Windows PC runs the game; the iPhone or iPad becomes the client display and controller through Safari PWA or a private TestFlight build.

Two paths

PWA or TestFlight: start with the need

Safari PWA

Open in Safari and add it to the Home Screen. Codec and input coverage follows the device’s web capabilities.

TestFlight client

A private native path for admitted testers when deeper system integration matters.

Host PC

Both paths require Helio on the Windows PC running your games.

Setup

Add the Lume PWA to the Home Screen

  1. Open SafariSign in to Lume on the iPhone or iPad.
  2. ShareOpen Safari’s Share menu.
  3. Add to Home ScreenLaunch Lume from the new icon.
  4. Pair a controllerConnect it in Bluetooth settings before the session.
Quality

Mobile Wi-Fi is only half the route

The host upload connection matters as much as the client network. Prefer wired Ethernet on the host and stable 5/6 GHz Wi-Fi on the device. Cellular can work, but routing and jitter vary.

Controls

A standard controller is the most predictable path

Most PC games are not designed for generic touch controls. Use an iOS/iPadOS-compatible Bluetooth controller and check the compatibility matrix.

Current status

What the iOS beta does not promise

Lume does not promise identical codecs, resolution or frame rate on every generation. Chip, OS, decoder and Safari capabilities differ, so access expands progressively.
