Before sending a diagnostic
- HelioCheck that Helio is running, up to date and reports the PC as ready to stream.
- ConnectionConfirm that the correct PC is selected and note whether the session uses the direct path or relay.
- PictureFor a freeze, record the exact time, resolution, codec and whether sound or controls continued.
- SoundCheck mute in Lume and the client’s media volume; say whether audio counters continue.
- ControlsFor a gamepad, provide its model, selected mode (Xbox/Switch) and the exact buttons that fail.
Limits currently tracked
Small decoders
RG557 can be limited by HEVC decode time. A manually selected lower quality remains preferable to a forced automatic profile.
Background relay
One disrupted long run showed severe buffering and freezes. This scenario is not presented as resolved.
Switch layouts
Button indices vary by browser and firmware. Mapping must be confirmed by measurement, never guessed.
What a useful report contains
- Approximate session time and duration.
- Client device, app version, network and carrier when relevant.
- Codec, resolution, selected frame rate and direct or relay path.
- Exact steps before the issue and what continued to work.
- The app-generated technical diagnostic, only if you agree to send it.
Never send secrets
Do not paste a password, a still-valid access code or a URL containing a token into a public channel.

During beta, confirmed incidents and important fixes are published in the changelog and announced on Discord. There is no contractual availability or response-time commitment yet.
